Home Gym Exercise Equipment
The common thought when people hear the word “gym” is to think of a health and fitness centre nearby full of
beefy blokes pumping iron. This is the vision that puts most people off from ever joining a gym, along
with the often high membership prices. Because of this many people never get around to doing any real exercise
and their health and fitness suffers.
However there is no longer any reason that becoming fit and healthy requires a trip to the gym. The average Joe
can now have access to a fully equipped gym in their own home thanks to the vast amount of home gym exercise
equipment on the market today.
Having your own home gym exercise equipment is great because it means you can exercise whenever you feel like
it, you do not have to pay expensive monthly fees and best of all, there is no one to impress but yourself so you
can go at your own pace.
If you are interested in starting a home fitness program then the best pieces of equipment to invest your money
in are an exercise bike, a treadmill, a rowing machine and a stair climber. These all provide an excellent
cardiovascular workout and will go a long way to tone and strengthen the upper and lower body.
Cardiovascular workouts are great for increasing stamina, burning fat and improving muscle tone, at the
same time it is always good to include some form of muscle building exercise. A complete home gym would be
very useful in this respect. The home gym is available in a great many styles and a whole bunch of brands ranging
from your basic, budget model right through the to top of the range models that would make some commercial gyms
blush.
There are three main types of home gym on the market today, these are:

cage, power rack and traditional.
